About Me
I got into software development early and never really looked back. I studied Computer Science at Clemson University as a Palmetto Fellows Scholar and graduated with my B.S. in December 2024. Along the way, I completed three internships that shaped how I think about building software — less about writing clever code, more about solving real problems and delivering something people actually use.
These days I'm a Software Engineer II at MedShift in Charlotte, NC, where I help build the Velocity Lending platform using Django and Vue.js. One of the things I'm most proud of there is leading the adoption of AI-assisted development workflows across our engineering team. I've gone from treating AI as fancy autocomplete to building with it as a genuine collaborator — and the difference in what a small team can ship is wild.
I'm also finishing up my M.S. in Computer Science at Clemson with a focus on AI and Machine Learning, carrying a 4.0 GPA while working full-time. It's a lot, but I'm driven by the satisfaction of shipping software that solves real problems — and understanding the deeper "why" behind the tools I use every day.
What I Work With
Outside of Code
When I'm not coding, you'll usually find me running, playing soccer or ultimate frisbee, lifting weights, playing guitar, or out with my camera.
